| Information | Nikolay Maminov was born in Minsk. The artist, the film critic, the theorist of art, the Master of art criticism, the director of photography of cinema and TV, the art designer, sound-master. The author of some successful scientific and popular articles on a theme «the Photo - and motion picture arts». Nowadays - one of the scandalous pictorialists, working in different styles. In the creativity positions the thesis: « As is known, art creativity is diverse, is subjective and by the nature is deeply irrational ». Being based on the given thesis, the author pays attention of popularization of following currents in a photo-and motion picture arts, drawing parallels with traditional and vanguard forms of the fine arts: abstractionism, surrealism, dadaism, conceptualism, symbolism, futurism, redi-mejd, pop art, kitch, a trash and new own synthesized style «NOVACITY». In attention of the author also there are decadent and urbanistic motives (so-called «underground»), connected c display of the surrounding validity and private world. Means of art self-expression is use of non-standard methods, somewhat deviative, differing from the standard standards and norms.
1991 - 1996 were studied by a complete course of a creative photo in Minsk the Youth Palace (masterful O.Nalivajko) Participated in republican and international exhibitions of a professional and alternative photo (Europe, Great Britain, Holland). Some works are exhibited at The Central London library, and in private collections worldwide. In 1995 became the winner «to Annual award The Minsk palace of children and youth in the field of arts and crafts, design».
In 2000 has finished with distinction УО «the Minsk state technological college», has received the highest category of the photographer (5 category). A diploma theme «A photo advertising Phenomenon in photo art».
In 2001 Has arrived in the Byelarussian State Academy of Arts, chair «Art of the film and TV», branch «The director of photography» (masterful A.Suhanovoj).
Throughout study participated in all scientifically-practical republican and international conferences. Has published a number of the theoretical works devoted to problems of a cinema, a photo and TV, has developed a number of manuals on a photo - motion picture arts. For excellent study and the vigorous activity has been twice awarded by grants «special funds of the President of Byelorussia on support of talented youth» (2003, 2004). In 2004 has been invited in jury of X. Minsk International Film festival «Leaf fall».
In parallel with study worked as the television cameraman: «Video Centre» (2002), «the Second national television channel» (ОНТ, 2003), «Capital TV» (СТВ, 2004). Worked on «the First musical television channel» 2003 - 2004 a number of musical clips for the Belarus, Russian and foreign variety executors has removed, a number of advertising and social rollers of a commercial and alternative orientation.
In 2005 has finished with distinction «the Belarus state academy of arts» («the Best graduate of Academy of arts - 2005», PERSONAL gratitude of the President of Byelorussia).
Same year has arrived in a magistracy, has successfully handed over candidate minima, it was protected on a theme «Camera stylistics in the Belarus game cinema 1990 - 2006th». Now the adviser on chair «Art of the film and TV», I conduct practical and theoretical employment «Lighting art», work in pavilion and an interior with light, "composition", etc. I cooperate with advertising agencies and «productions», participating in creation of several creative «novastilistics» programs for the First National television channel.
